Nothing new really

I don't really know how to start these off my journals really, I guess the best thing I could do is make them as entertaining as possible, but whatever yeah.

Nothing really new has happened yet, other then the fact that my older sister who I haven't seen in 4-5 years recently came down to live with us for awhile, which is nice. But the reason shes down here is because her mother needed chemotherapy because she has breast cancer. Quite honestly, from what I've been told and heard, she doesn't have much of a chance, but I don't know her so I don't really feel anything other then the fact that my dad was once married to her. But thats all. I am glad for the fact that I was able to see my sister after such a long absence. Whats more, shes getting married. Her husbands in the next room over actually. Hes a pretty good guy, dependable and all I like him. Decent looking with a somewhat generic hairstyle but that's easily overlooked.

School has been good for the most part. Got my report card today, though I've already seen my marks before hand, making it the first time since I entered high school the first time I've seen all my marks before everyone else yeah. My highest mark was in English this year with a 86% (a new record for me to be honest), and my lowest being 55% in my advertising art class, because I'm a man and I don't work fast enough to get everything done on time yeah. It's not that I don't do good work (it's quite good I've been told actually, it's just that I put to much effort that it takes up to much time that I could use for other assignments, but whatever yeah).

Not much else, other then the fact that I`ll be trying to make a doctors appointment since me head started to hurt more then usual.

Remember when I said I was going to C4, well I went I must say I had a pretty good time. Got to see the bat mobile, the Ecto-1, some people dressed weird going at it in a shabby arena (which was cool). The only thing I didn't like was the fact that when I went to get an autograph from Adam West, they we're charging 30 bucks per signature, and that wasn't for the picture prints they had there, they were for him to sign ANYTHING. Which left me feeling disgusted for about an hour, thinking who in their right mind would charge $30+ for a fucking signature. Although to be honest, I don't blame Adam West himself for the bullshit charge, I blame his manger/s. I'm sure the Adam West, the man himself would gladly sign an autograph to any old joe on the street, it just seemed like they were trying too milk money outta everyone just for the fact that he took time outta his life came to Winnipeg. But whatever, that little rant is done (I did get a free little picture with his signature, but it's just not the same, I also said "fuck you" too that manger looking guy sitting next to him).
I got to try DJ hero while I was there too. My verdict on the game... it's a little gay and a little cool at the same time. If your looking to try something new, try DJ hero and form your own opinion yeah.
I also saw a lot cool costumes. There was a Ghost Rider, Bayanetta (or whatever you call her), a Bowser, an Indiana Jones (which was pretty bitchin) and a lot Storm Troopers and BobaFetts (which were equally bitchin and cool yeah).

Also Halloween was pretty crappy this year. I went to go trick or treating with some friends, but we ended up waiting for another group of friends for like an hour and a half and ended up missing the whole thing all together. That's the last time I got out for Halloween with my friend Curtis.

In other news, not much has happened since then, other then the fact that I went to the Manitohabe Pow Wow down at the MTS Center on Saturday to see my older sister dance and hang out with my Grand Parents (sounds lame, but it was rather fun yeah). I went and had a good time listing to different drumming groups and watching the beautiful and frantic Dances. I also got to hold the Olympic Torch and even got a new blanket for free during the give away (which is a nice and warm blanket BTW). I just wish my mother was there so I could have bugged her about not getting something for my birthday for the last years, but whatever.


Also, I am planning on cosplaying in the future, most likely as Naked Snake, Old Snake or Jack Rakan man of a thousand blades. Does anyone from Winnipeg know where I can get a good eye patch?

To those who don't live in Manitoba or in the neighboring provinces, the title well make no sense at all. But anyways I making this slight journal entry to say that I'll be going to C4 also known as Central Canada Comic Con. I hope to see some of you there yeah.

I'll also be posting something in a little while yeah.

Anyways, I`m stuck home today with a cold, which at the moment wouldn`t really make a different since I would be coming home from school about now but who cares right? Though the worst I'm suffering right now is a change of voice, and some minor coughing fits. Though the thing is, my cold got worse within 5 hours on Sunday. But whatever yeah.

I finished a bit of an art project last Saturday, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to post it right away. If You wanna see it, you'll have to wait for this guy :iconsonicspin2: to post his new video or whatever, but whatever?

Thanksgiving was good this year, mainly because I wasn't doing the dishes this time around like every other time, it would've been better if I didn't have this cold though but that's life. My family had our dinner on Sunday, and then we went to my Aunt's house for theirs. It was quite nice I must say yeah. Though, we have lots of left overs.

In other news, I'm trying to save up for a trip to Australia next year. The only problem is I need to have $1000 ready by the 16th of November and then pay the rest from there. The first $1000 is my only problem, seeing as it's due in one month. The trip in total is almost 5K, which is more then worth it seeing as the people going well be gone for 2 weeks, to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand and the Fiji Islands. I need to find a job, FAST.

Also, to anyone else in Manitoba, didn't that snow just piss you off?
