Updates for those who read

I really should update my journal more instead of letting it fest for weeks on end.

So anyways, Ai-kon, Winnipeg's yearly anime convention was a little over a week ago. It was my best year so far, seeing as I was able to buy 2 box sets and not one (though that left me broke for the artist alley). My friend even came with me this year, though he never showed up until after 10 PM or so, it was pretty fun having him around, even if all we did was monopolize Brawl for the whole night, it's not like they were any events going on after 11 anyway (we played Brawl for 6 plus hours, winning a shared 90% of our matches, he won most of them... though it's not like there was much for competition anyway, peanut gallery for the most of it). I was even able to give her long over due gift, which no one else but her, me and a few other individuals will ever EVER get to see, unless she feels like posting it up for the world. It's a one of a kind Copic illustration that went right from sketch to final colours on the same page, which is rare for me.

But enough about that, I had to buy a new fucking PS3 the other week since my old one died on me. The problem? The mother board was warped into a bowl shape thats not really noticeable unless you look closely enough. And I really liked the chrome and card readers too yeah. Well my new one is a 160 gig so I can't really complain. I also bought a new 24" LED 60Hrz tv last Friday from Future Shop, which is letting me fully enjoy Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, I highly suggest that game if your looking for a different kind of JRPG. I was also forced into a job I hate last month, but its not all bad, I'm getting the exercise I need and it's great money right out of high school, with my wage at $19.39 an hour plus over time and all that.

I also forgot to mention I graduated High School last month, even got 2 awards to take with me for a time. Though I almost didn't make the cut, with my 2 lowest marks being both 50's in english and math, I didn't even hand in my stuff for phys. ed and they still passed me. 80 hours of log your own exercise my ass, screw you teachers and administration, I was gonna fake all my hours anyway.

So anyways, I think Ill begin drawing more and more now since I've got really nothing else to do with my time other then hang out with friends and work. I'll be buyin a decent scanner then since I've got the money to do so, so you can expect me to be a bit more active too.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that it'll be my 18th birthday on Tuesday this week. It's to bad no one has any money to spend until Thursday, but oh well, thats that.
